Spunky style ruled the roost as designer Tanya Sharma showcased her Gaga collection at the LFW 2014.
Indian designer Tanya Sharma presented her unique ‘Gaga’ collection on Day 4 of the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014 – August 22, 2014. The couturier’s ‘Gaga’ collection was the most unique collection to have hit the ramp this LFW.
Tanya’s collection drew inspiration from techniques like leheriya, bandhani, tie & dye and block printing on modern fabrics. Wedge heeled sneakers paired with slightly eccentric-like outfits gave the entire collection a unique touch.
The collection’s title ‘Gaga’ was very obviously eponymous – singer Lady Gaga. The ‘Pokerface’ singing sensation is known for her ludicrous sense of style and the collection on the ramp, drew apparent inspiration from that. Bright blooming colors, Indian attire paired with sporty sneakers; were all obvious Lady Gaga-like style statements.
