Baahubali theme parks to be made in Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad?


Several reports suggest that makers of the movie are planning to construct Baahubali theme parks at par with Disneyland

One of the biggest films in the world, Baahubali has taken the entire nation by storm. Baahubali 1 was originally released in 2015 and it broke all records with it’s massive box office collection. Now, after five years of shooting the film, makers are all set to release Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion on April 28, 2017 and fans can’t contain their excitement!

Such is the hype around the Baahubali franchise that makers re-released Baahubali 1 this Friday and fans have already thronged to theaters to watch their favorite epic drama once again. Even a television series is being planned, based on the story line of the franchise and fashion house Bollywoo recently released a clothing line inspired by the movie. Owing to the great response the movie has received and the craze building up among fans, makers of the film are planning to construct Baahubali theme parks in the cities of Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. Some reports suggest that these theme parks will be at par with Disneyland in terms of grandeur and rides.

While much hasn’t been revealed about the plan, a source from the production house has confirmed to leading daily, DNA that “The Baahubali theme parks are intended to be incepted in a phased manner. The first phase will see the construction of the Park in Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata, followed by Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Kochi and other cities.”

Though the details of these theme parks are yet to be revealed, we are extremely excited about the re-release of Baahubali 1 and cannot wait for the release of Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion. The sequel stars Prabhas, Tammanah Bhatia, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty in lead roles. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malyalam on April 28, 2017.
