The much-awaited reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 was launched by Rohit Shetty at an event in Mumbai on May 9, 2017. The launch event was a grand affair, where the contestants of the show were also introduced. Host Rohit Shetty too made a dramatic entry on the stage with a daredevil stunt. The filmmaker, during the stunt, pretended to injure himself and said, “If I can do this to me, just imagine what I can do with you contestants.”
The fresh season of the Indian version of the American show Fear Factor, features TV and sports personalities. The list of contestants –

Khatron Ke Khiladi, which kicked off late in July 2008, has had its audience hooked since its first season. It has been hosted previously by Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Kapoor. Even Rohit Shetty has hosted a couple seasons before and has now come back with its new one, and this time in Spain.
Apart from hosting the show, Rohit is awaiting the release of his action-comedy flick Golmaal Again this Diwali. Rohit at the event was also asked whom he considers as the real Khiladi in Bollywood to which he replied that Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn are the real Khiladis of in Bollywood.
