After launching the trailer of the film Secret Superstar, Aamir Khan launched the first song Main Kaun Hoon from the film at an event in Mumbai on August 21, 2017. The song is sung by Meghna Mishra , composed by Amit Trivedi and written by Kausar Munir.
Aamir has also shared the song on his Twitter account and the caption read, “Hey guys, presenting the 1st song of Secret Superstar and along with that, one of the secret superstars of Secrey Superstar… Meghna. Thank you Amit, thank you Kausar. Hope you like it. Love. A.” However, actress Zaira Wasim did not turn up for the launch event.
Aamir in an earlier interview spoke about the film and said, “Secret Superstar as the title in the film refers to Zaira and of course, Zaira is a huge star but it’s no longer a secret. She was a secret superstar until Dangal had released.” The Dangal actress will be seen playing the role of a 14 year old girl who aspires to become a superstar.
