The much-awaited first trailer video for the Akshay Kumar-starrer movie ‘Boss’ has been launched. The action comedy flick has been directed by Anthony D’Souza, who has previously directed the movie ‘Blue’ in 2009.
The upcoming movie stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Sonakshi Sinha, Ronit Roy, Mithun Chakraborty, Shiv Pandit, Danny Denzongpa, Johnny Leverm, Prabhu Deva and Parikshit Sahni. In the movie, Akshay will be seen playing the role of a gangster, while Mithun will be seen playing his father. Only minutes after the trailer video was released, people were praising Ronit Roy’s appearance as a police officer on the social networking site Twitter.
Roy is also the highlight of the otherwise average trailer video and even Mithun makes an appearance in the trailer video for a few seconds. On the other hand, Akshay failed to make an impression.
The movie’s teaser was released on August 14, 2013, along with ‘Once Upon a Time In Mumbaai Dobaara’. The movie is expected to be released on October 16, 2013. Reports have said that ‘Boss’ is the remake of the Mammootty-starrer Malayalam movie ‘Pokkiri Raja’, released in 2010. In the movie, Akshay will be playing the role of a kind-hearted gangster who is known as Boss.
