Amul paid a touching tribute to the veteran actress Sridevi with its trademark ad

While the nation mourns the death of veteran actress Sridevi at the age of 54 due to accidental drowning, Indian dairy cooperative, Amul paid a touching tribute to the actress. Amul made a trademark ad which has shown Sridevi in her various roles which made a mark in Bollywood.

The ad was given the caption, “Woh lamhe hum hameshayaad rakhenge. RIP Mrs. India”. The actress breathed her last in Dubai on February 24, 2018. Sridevi reportedly had a fainting spell and was accidentally drowned in the bathtub. Husband Boney Kapoor had found her motionless in the bathtub.

The Kapoor family was in Dubai to attend the wedding festivities of Mohit Marwah and had also shared some candid pictures from the ceremonies. Daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor were not with their mother during her last moments. The family is currently waiting for the body to be brought back to Mumbai.

Meanwhile, several members of the film fraternity visited Anil Kapoor’s residence to console bereaved Janhvi and Khushi. Sridevi made a mark in Bollywood with the films Mr. India, Chandni, Sadma and was last seen in the film Mom. Daughter Janhvi Kapoor is also about to make her debut in Bollywood with the film Dhadak which will be releasing o July 20, 2018.
