Salman Khan asked to pay fine for smoking in public


Bollywood Garam: Bollywood hunk Salman Khan recently landed in trouble due to his smoking habit. The ‘Dabangg’ actor was in Punjab, India for the shooting of his upcoming movie ‘Bodyguard’, when he was fined for smoking in public.

The actor was seen smoking in Hotel Neemrana, where the shooting of the movie was taking place. A challan of Rs 200 was issued to the actor on the basis of some photographs, which showed Salman smoking.

The photograph was published in the news paper and that the actor was spotted smoking on ‘No Tobacco Day’ on 31st May. Apart from the actor, even the hotel authority was issued a challan for allowing the actor to smoke.

The shooting of the movie is currently held in Patiala in the state of Punjab. The cast of the movie also includes Kareena Kapoor and the hotel has been shown as the residence of the actress. Kareena had arrived a day before the shooting started on the sets in Patiala. Salman was also fined in the year 2009 for smoking in public and was issued challan twice.

The other actors who have also been fined for the same offence are Shahrukh Khan and Ajay Devgn. Ajay reportedly does not like to be prohibited to smoke and has many times become rude to people who tried to restrict him.
