Salman Khan postpones ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ for close friend Aamir Khan

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has this time proved that he too can do anything for his close friends. The actor recently postponed the release of his upcoming movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ on the request of his close friend Aamir Khan.

‘Ek Tha Tiger’ was supposed to be released on 1st June 2012 but has been postponed to 17th August 2012. It was Aamir who had reportedly requested Salman to postpone the film so that he could release his movie with Reema Kagti on 1st June.

On the other hand Yash Raj Film had already booked 1st June for the release of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. So Aamir had thought that it would not be good to clash the two movies together and had requested Salman and also the producer Aditya Chopra release their movie on a further date.

Since Aamir and Salman were close friends from the time of their blockbuster movie ‘Andaaz Apna Apna’, Salman had agreed to postpone it. Moreover the time of Eid on which the movie will now be released has always been lucky for the ‘Dabangg’ actor. His earlier movies like ‘Wanted’, ‘Bodyguard’ and ‘Dabangg’ were also released on the festive day of Eid and had proven a blockbuster at the box office.
