Kangana Ranaut roped in for ‘Krrish’ sequel?

After the makers of the movie ‘Krrish’ had announced that its sequel would be made, the movie has been in news for a while. The Roshans are now searching for a face for the negative female role.

Earlier the makers had roped in Chitrangada Singh but she was dropped out of the movie citing date issues with the production unit. Meanwhile actors Vivek Oberoi, Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan have been finalized for the movie.

Even actress Jacqueline Fernandez was finalized for the flick, but the actress had backed out of the project as she had refused to do a few intimate scenes. But the latest news is that actress Kangana Ranaut, has bagged the role.

The makers had approached the actress after which Ranaut had immediately agreed to do it as she had loved her character. Certain sources from the production unit have also said that Kangana was the original choice of the makers but the dates could not be manipulated. But since the dates of ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ have been postponed, the actress has now agreed to do ‘Krrish 2’. The movie is expected to be released by the year 2013 and the shooting would begin early next year. The movie ‘Krrish’ had failed to impress the audience but still the Roshans are keen on making a sequel.
