Vin Diesel Gets a Desi Welcome as he lands in Mumbai with Deepika Padukone to Promote xXx – The Return of Xander Cage
International star Vin Diesel of the Fast and Furious Fame landed in India today, January 11, 2017 along with his co-star Deepika Padukone.
They are on tour to promote their latest film, xXx- The Return of Xander Cage, which stars our very own Deepika Padukone and Vin Diesel in the lead.
If you’re in Mumbai, you can catch them today evening at the promotional event being held at Palladium Mall, Lower Parel, Mumbai. DJ Nucleya will be playing at the event and entry is free for all!
After interacting with fans at the event, Vin Diesel, Deepika Padukone and film director D.J. Caruso will head to a private star studded premiere of the movie hosted by Ajay Bijli and Sanjay Bijli. Reports have it that the star cast will head to a Bollywood style grand bash to celebrate after the premiere. It is rumored that this party will be attended by all notable stars.
xXx – The Return of Xander Cage is the final movie of the xXx series and is set to release worldwide on January 20, 2017. But the big news is – The movie is releasing in India this Friday, January 14, 2017 before releasing anywhere else in the world!
The complete star cast includes Nina Dobrev, Donnie Yen, Kris Wu, Tony Jaa and Ruby Rose in prominent supporting roles. The movie is a sequel to the second film in the series titled xXx – The State of The Union which released in 2005.

Vin Diesel, Deepika Padukone and director D.J. Caruso were given a grand welcome with dhol, tutari and tilak, by women clad in nauvari sarees.
Director D.J Caruso was overwhelmed by this welcome and tweeted –
“The greatest welcome ever! ‘XXX India Premiere. Wow and a blessing to go with it”.
This is Vin Diesel’s first visit to India and he was quoted by several publishers saying that as a child, he always dreamed of traveling to India. Rumor has it that is 2 day visit is tightly packed with high profile parties and interaction events.
The grand welcome was followed by a unique promotional drive by all the saree clad women as they drove around on Royal Enfield Bullets with flags promoting xXx – The Return of Xander Cage!
