Bipasha Basu responds to allegations of throwing tantrums at a Fashion show

Organizers of India – Pakistan London Fashion Show allegedly claim that Bipasha Basu was unprofessional and threw tantrums when her demands were not met!

Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu, along with her husband Karan Singh Grover, were recently in London. The “Raaz” actress was asked to be a showstopper at the India-Pakistan London Fashion Show, however reports claim that the actress allegedly threw tantrums when her demands were not fulfilled by the organizing committee.

Bipasha Basu, who was staying at the Mayfair Hotel, London, reportedly refused to come out of her room or speak to anyone just a few hours before the show. The actress had reportedly taken an amount of 7800 pounds in addition to travel expenses, at the airport but did not walk the ramp as some of her demands were not fulfilled.

On the other hand Bipasha’s team has responded to these allegations by saying that, “Bipasha has always had a spotless reputation for more than 15 years in the industry and has been a thorough professional. Unfortunately, the organisers didn’t honour their commitment as promised in terms of hospitality and logistics. On landing, Bipasha had to book her own hotel stay. What happened was completely unprofessional on the organisers part.”

The organizers claimed that the Bollywood actress had asked for her stay at Mayfair to be extended, but on account of full bookings, they were unable to do so. Bipasha and Karan then made reservations at another 5 star property that charged 600 pounds per night.

Moreover, the couple was given a 5 pound phone recharge that was allegedly thrown on the organizer’s face. Some reports have also claimed that the event managers were so upset with the way the ‘Jism’ actress behaved that they have threatened to complain at the visa and immigration centre to get her debarred from working in the UK, in future.

Bipasha has responded to all these allegations by tweeting that, “15 years you don’t last any business being unprofessional. You last because you are clear and particular and have self-respect.”

On the work front, the actress was last seen in the movie ‘Alone’ in 2015. We wish her the very best for all her upcoming projects and hope that these allegations die down soon!
