Soha Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, Rajkummar Rao,Richa Chadda among other grace special screening of Trapped
Celebrities from Bollywood attended the special screening of the movie Trapped in Mumbai on March 10, 2017. The screening event saw the presence of Soha Ali Khan with husband Kunal Khemu, Kriti Sanon, star of Trapped Rajkummar Rao, Richa Chadda, Patralekha, Ronit Roy with wife Neelam Singh, Kartik Aryan, Hansal Mehta, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Vikramaditya Motwane, Madhu Mantena, Vishesh Bhatt and others.
‘Trapped’ is a upcoming survival thriller flick which is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and has Rajkummar Rao in the lead role. The movie was earlier screened at the Mumbai Film Festival in 2016 and received a standing ovation.
The story is about a married man who has just shifted to a new house and is ready to bring his wife home. But then due to a careless mistake, the man played by Rajkummar, gets trapped in to his own house for about a month without food, water or electricity. Trapped is a psychological thriller that centres around this one man, and though mostly shot in one location, is ripe with deep emotions and captivates the audience.
The trailer of the movie has shown some attempts made by the protagonist to call for help and get himself rescued. Though the movie covers a serious subject, there are a number of comedy parodies that have been made, the most recent being from comedian VJ José.
Trapped is produced by Anurag Kashyap’s Phantom films. The movie is all set to hit theatres on March 17, 2017.
