Mahesh Bhatt Wishes Alia Bhatt On Her 24th Birthday With Throwback Pic

Alia Bhatt is still daddy’s little girl!

One of Bollywood’s current most bankable stars, Alia Bhatt is thrilling audiences with her performances since she debuted in Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year. While the rest of the world looks on her as an A-list actress, her father still sees her as his little daughter, growing up too fast.

Alia Bhatt celebrated her birthday today, March 15 as she turns 24 years old. We’re sure there’s a grand birthday bash waiting to happen from all her co-stars and well-wishers in the industry. One of the first to wish her was dad, the famed filmmaker and Bollywood sensual storyteller, Mahesh Bhatt. Like all modern dads, he took to social media to reminisce about the good ol’ times with his daughter. He posted a throwback image of him and Alia years ago, when she was still a child who could fit into his arms. He captioned the image: “Happy birthday princess !!! You are my masterpiece” (sic) followed by emojis of a rainbow, mushroom, balloon and heart.

Alia is the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and wife, Soni Razdan. She has an elder sister, Shaheen and shares two step-siblings, including feminist filmmaker, Pooja Bhatt. Alia started off in the industry at an early age, alongside fellow debutants, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in Student Of The Year, which turned out to be one of the biggest hits of the year. This was followed by a number of successful films, including Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and her latest flick, which also the sequel to the film – Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

And now the talented young star is dating Sidharth Malhotra, who was one of the first ones to wish her on her special day, arriving around midnight at her home. A number of celebrities lined up on social media to wish her, including Priyanka Chopra, Jacqueline Fernandes, Ayan Mukerji, Shahid Kapoor, Dia Mirza…and the list goes on!

The birthday girl also shared her birthday gift with her followers through her Instagram account – a cute, fluffy white kitten!

Bollywood Garam also wishes Alia Bhatt a happy birthday, and success for her film, Badrinath Ki Dulhania which is revving to cross the 100 crore mark in its first week.
