Bollywood veteran actress and celebrity interior designer Twinkle Khanna graced an event by L’Oreal Professional in Mumbai on March 21, 2017. The leading hair and beauty brand had earlier announced Twinkle as the first Indian brand ambassador for L’Oreal Professional.
The event also saw the presence of L’Oreal Professional GM, Susan Varghese, who said that Twinkle fits in as the perfect brand ambassador as she is glamorous, plays different roles and is also an inspiration for today’s women.
The actress looked great in a velvet top, caped sleeved blazer and black pants. The biggest accessory that caught everyone’s attention was Twinkle’s hair that made her look like a ’70s Hollywood actress.
Twinkle Khanna played an integral part in Bollywood during the ’90s era, but then the actress gave up on her promising acting career to start a family with Akshay Kumar. After several years out of the spotlight, raising her children, she soon turned in to a bestselling author. Apart from her accomplishment of being a published author, the actress has co-produced various Bollywood movies including Thank You, Khiladi 786, 72 Miles and Holiday – A Soldier Is Never off Duty.
The former actress has been married to Akshay Kumar for 17 years now, and together they have two children, Aarav and Nitara. She also has a successful career as an interior designer, and has worked on a number of celebrity homes.
And L’Oreal Professional is right. Twinkle Khanna is the epitome of what today’s alpha female is like.
