Taapsee Pannu was all smiles at a promotional event

Bollywood’s action star, Taapsee Pannu is busy promoting her upcoming movie Naam Shabana, which is due to hit theatres on March 31, 2017. The actress was snapped at an event and looked pretty in a semi-formal attire. She paired classic ripped jeans with a black and grey t-shirt and silver laced shoes.

Taapsee completed her look with minimum make-up, a neat hairdo and a charming smile. The actress has reportedly been trained in mixed martial arts and Judo for her role in Naam Shabana which is the prequel to the movie Baby. 2015’s Baby had seen Taapsee showing off some action-packed moves. The prequel will tell take the audience on a journey and tell the story of how the star turned into an undercover agent.

Taapsee made her debut in Bollywood with the movie Chashme Baddoor for which she was nominated for the Filmfare Best Female Debut award. The actress was last seen in the multilingual movie The Ghazi Attack. Taapsee received appreciation from the critics and audience for her role in the movie Pink which also starred Amitabh Bachchan. The actress is currently filming for the upcoming movie Judwaa 2 which also stars Varun Dhawan.

Recently, Taapsee Pannu had spoken out about how it was difficult for her to make it in the industry. Women-centric roles that see female characters take on hardcore stunts is almost unheard of. She also said that producers considered her “bad luck” and she has, in the past, been dropped from a number of projects. However, with the success of her films, she can be rest assured that the Indian audience is in love with her and we want to see more of Taapsee’s insane action moves on the big screen!
