AIB denies making an offer to Sunil Grover for a collaboration

All India Bakchod jokes about offering Sunil a job in their latest episode

Excited about Sunil Grover collaborating with AIB? Don’t get so excited just yet. Comedian and All India Bakchod member Rohan Joshi refuted all rumors which suggest that AIB offered Sunil Grover to be a part of his group.

“No, that was just a joke at the end of On Air with AIB. Nobody has asked Sunil to be part of AIB. That was just a joke, and everybody has taken it seriously. It’s so funny to us. People have gotten so excited about this,” said Rohan Joshi to Hindustan Times.

At AIB’s show’s latest episode, On Air with AIB, team members Rohan and Ashish Shakya joked around by saying that, “Sunil Grover, if you’re watching this and want to work with a smart, funny comedy group jahan pe koi bhi mard salwar pehen ke nahi aata, toh please phone karo humko, hum flight pe sirf pillow phenkte hai, chappal nahi.”

The entire Kapil Sharma – Sunil Grover fallout drama unfolded after reports of an inebriated Kapil hurling insults at Sunil on a flight from Melbourne to Mumbai surfaced on March 17.

After this incident, the two even took to social media to explain what happened followed by a public apology by Kapil. However, Sunil seemed un-consolable and announced that he will be quitting The Kapil Sharma Show. This was followed by lead characters of the show, Chandan Prabhakar, Ali Asgar and Sugandha Mishra boycotting Kapil’s show in Sunil’s support.

However, reportedly Sunil Grover is bound by a contract with Sony TV till April 23, 2017 which means that he is expected to return to the show, along with other characters, to the show.

The Kapil Sharma – Sunil Grover brawl takes new turns everyday. But whatever, it maybe things don’t look so bright for The Kapil Sharma Show and we hope the two make mends soon.
