Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon, graced an event that promoted an NGO known as She’s Brand Ambassador Program in Mumbai on April 11, 2017. The She’s Brand Ambassador Program aims the girls’ welfare development. Tandon has also lent her voice for the short film by She’s Ambassador Program which has shown the intentions of the NGO for girls. The event also saw the presence of Priya Dutt.
The actress at the event said, “I have been raised by my mother in such a way that I have a lot of compassion towards young people.” Raveena even revealed that at the age of 11 she had to dig out a kid from the mud and that showed the situation she went through during those times. Tandon, who married to film distributor Anil Thadani, has been active in NGO projects since a long time.
The Bulandi actress, at the NGO promotion event also talked about the recent controversy surrounding her upcoming movie Maatr that alleged that Anjum Rizvi did not clear his debts of the cast and crew of the previous flick. Raveena clarified, “The case has been settled and we have got the NOC and the movie shall release on 21st of April. The rumors of any more issues are fake and we have no more troubles in proceeding.”
The actress was last seen in the movie 2 Chehare and is also filming for the movie Shab directed by Onir. Mrs. Thadani was active in Bollywood during the 90s era and has worked in several blockbuster flicks in Bollywood including Imtihaan, Laadla, Andaz Apna Apna, Mohra, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Vijeta and more.
