Sonakshi Sinha replaced by Malaika Arora on Nach Baliye 8, Here’s why!

Just as fans were eagerly looking forward to get a glimpse of Sonakshi Sinha on television this weekend, they were hit with speculations which suggested that she may not be on the judges panel of Nach Baliye 8 anymore. Turns out, this is partially true. Noor star Sonakshi Sinha has been replaced by Malaika Arora who will now judge the reality show alongside Terence Lewis and Mohit Suri.

Pictures of Malaika Arora surfaced today as she was spotted shooting for her first episode of Nach Baliye 8 as a judge alongside guest judges Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. The diva look stunning in a golden off shoulder dress, paired with statement earrings.

However, it has been confirmed by show makers that Malaika will not be a permanent feature on the show and will be replacing Sonakshi only for two episode. This is not Malaika’s first time judging Nach Baliye, the diva was a part of the show’s judge’s panel in 2005 and 2006. She is an accomplished dancer herself and has also judged other reality shows including India’s Got Talent, Zara NachKe Dikha and Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa.

But before you jump to theories as to why Sonakshi Sinha was replaced, here’s what happened – As reported earlier by Bollywood Garam, Sonkashi Sinha was traveling for the Dabangg Tour this weekend along with several other Bollywood celebrities. After touring Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney, Salman Khan, Sonkashi Sinha and other stars are expected to return this week. After which, Sonakshi Sinha will be off to South Africa as a part of Hrithik Roshan’s tour. Hence, she will not be available for shooting two episodes of Nach Baliye 8.

As disclosed in an exclusive with Indian Express, makers of the show have confirmed that both episodes of Nach Baliye 8 will be shot on Tuesday, April 25 itself. So rest assured, you will be able to catch Sonakshi Sinha on Nach Baliye 8 next week!
