It’s finally happening! After much speculation about the air date of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai Take 2, makers of the show have finally released an official trailer and have revealed it’s air date. It will air on Hotstar starting May 16, 2017 after a wait of seven long years! The show first went on air in early 2000s and has gotten audiences hooked to it since. Show producer JD Majethia revealed that the entire cast decided to come back for a season 2 of the loved comedy show on popular demand. Season 2 of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai is titled Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai Take 2 and has two new characters.
The trailer released on May 1, 2017 and shows main characters Indravadan, Maya, Rosesh, Sahil and wife Monisha trying to clean their house. They are literally trying to make everything shine in their house! When asked why, Sahil Sarabhai reveals – “because we are a clean show.” This is a dig at all the shows passed off as comedy shows which contain cheap and adult content. The trailer clearly conveys that Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai Take 2 will have the same essence of clean, crazy comedy as it’s prequel.
Show makers had previously released a sneak-peak into the new Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai set on Facebook as a short teaser for it’s upcoming season. It featured all the main characters giving a tour of their new house. With the new trailer, makers have also revealed Season 2’s title – Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai Take 2!
