Rani Mukherji to do an item song in Housefull 2?

Bollywood Garam: Rani Mukherji has so far refrained from dancing and item numbers, but now,  for the first time in her career, the actress will be seen doing a peppy disco number. The ‘Bunty aur Babli’ girl has given her nod for an item song in the sequel of Housefull.

There is no doubt that Rani is a phenomenal dancer, but the actress has always stayed away from showing off her dancing skills on screen, except for a few movies like ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ and ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’. Not many are aware of the fact that Rani is a trained Odissi dancer and loves to dance her heart out.

When the Bollywood damsel was asked about this, she refused to comment anything for the moment, but did not deny it. Rani said that she has not done an item number so far but is open to do it. The ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ actress said that it totally depends on how the song would be presented.

Rani added that she loves to dance and she thinks that such numbers would have a lot of energy. Its is not yet clear if will be choreographing the item song. There are chances that choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant would given the responsibility, as she is a close friend of the actress.
