Madhur Bhandarkar is back with his another story based on a real incident, Indu Sarkar. The movie tells the story of when PM Indira Gandhi imposed an emergency in India in 1975, which lasted till 1977. However,director and producer Madhur Bhandarkar has clarified that 70 percent of the film’s story is fiction and worried about the censor board certification.
The official Indu Sarkar trailer was launched at an event in Mumbai on June 16, 2017. The movie stars Neil Nitin Mukesh and Kirti Kulhari and Tota Roy Chowdhury. Chowdhury is a Bengali actor and will make his Bollywood debut with the movie.
The trailer launch was attended by several Bollywood celebrities including Anupam Kher, Madhur Bhandarkar’s wife Renu Namboodari, Anu Malik and lead actors Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kirti Kulhari and Tota Roy Chowdhury. Indu Sarkar releases on July 28, 2017.
