Taaha Shah to do girly moves in ‘Mutton song’ item number

Bollywood Garam: Gone are the days when hot item girls or actresses used to be the first choice for a sizzling item number in a movie. The makers of ‘Luv Ka The End’ have gone totally out of their way and opted to feature their lead hero, Taaha Shah, for the item song also known as the ‘Mutton song’.

The teaser of the song has already appeared on the television, which says that ‘Munni Badnaam hui’ and ‘Sheila Ki Jawaani’ have gone and its now time for the ‘Mutton song’ to take over. Ashish Patil, the head of the Yash Raj Films, has said that the song is a mad track and has a special casting.

Ashish added that while everyone is remixing old tracks to feature them in new movies, the choreographers have brought back the old back up dancers. The dancers include Bulbul, who has appeared in the song ‘Laila O Laila’ in  ‘Qurbani’ as an African dancer and Deepak; who had marched steps with veteran actress Vaijayantimala, in the famous song ‘Hoton Pe Aisi Baat’.

Actor Taaha Shah is seen dressed in a girly ghagra choli in the song. The music of the song has been given by Ram Sampath, while Krishna Beura has sung the song. The song has a qawali touch with a hint of contemporary. Let’s hope it lives up to the hype and overturns the real item numbers – just like the makers say!
