Celebrities at SIIMA Awards 2017 Day 1 red carpet
The sixth edition of South Indian International Movie Awards – popularly know as SIIMA Awards 2017 was celebrated at Abu Dhabi from June 30 to July 1. Day one of the awards show saw the attendance of many celebrities from the South Indian film industry. It was dedicated to Kannada and Telugu films, while the second day was dedicated to Malayalam and Tamil films.

There were some scintillating celebrity performances and big winners. SIIMA Awards 2017 Day 1 was hosted by DJ Allu Sirish and Roshan, who turned out to be the best hosts for the evening. The evening saw veteran actor Murali Mohan win the Lifetime Achievement award and Akhil Akkineni treated the audience to a live performance of his song, Yevevo Kalalu Kanna from an upcoming film.
