DJ Shilpi Sharma launches reprised version of iconic song, Salaam E Ishq (Video)

DJ Shilpi Sharma launched a new reprised version of the iconic single, Salaam-E-Ishq in collaboration with singer Jasmine Sandhlas and Music Director Arko Pravo Mukherjee. The music launch was held at the recently inaugurated Kube Lounge in Andheri, Mumbai on July 19, 2017.

The DJ and actor gave the classic a funky twist in an attempt to make it the next big hit amongst club goers. Talking about the reprised version of Salaam-E-Ishq, DJ Shilpi Sharma says, “It’s great that we’re able to revamp some of the old tunes. There are some beautiful melodies and lyrics and when given a modern twist, help introduce the youth to the classics. Our single Salaam- E- Ishq opens with a fun verse and then launches into a club vibe with groovy beats. When the song speeds up, it sounds very party like which enhances the danceable mood of the song.”

The song has been shot in exquisite locations of Dubai and presents a never-seen-before avatar of DJ Shilpi Sharma as she dances to the tunes of the song – flaunting her tones body amidst stunning desert dunes & architectural marvels. This makes Salaam-e-Ishq one of the most stylized remixed videos to have been created in a long time.
