Farhan Akhtar shares 2 new posters of Lucknow Central!

After sharing the first poster of the upcoming film Lucknow Central, Farhan Akhtar shared the two new posters of the film through his Instagram account. The new poster shows Farhan holding up a slate which reads, “Lucknow Central, plan kuch aur hai (there is another plan)”.

Another poster of the film shows Farhan Akhtar and other characters of the film standing within the premises of a jail. The two new posters also feature Rohit Roy, Deepak Dobriyal, Gippy Grewal and Rajesh Sharma – who play important supporting roles in the movie.

Lucknow Central is produced by Nikkhil Advani and directed by Ranjit Tiwari. The film also stars Diana Penty and is ready to be released in theatres on September 15, 2017. Nikkhil in a recent interview with a leading daily threw light on the film and said, “We are extremely excited about this project as it’s a unique concept set against the backdrop of a jail and its inmates. The stellar ensemble cast adds further charm and intrigue to the film and we can’t wait to bring this captivating drama to the viewers.”

The makers of the film erected a massive set in Film City, Goregaon, Mumbai . Amit Ray, who was the in charge of the vast sets said that the producer wanted to have a big and scary looking jail. This was when the makers started making layouts and also made 3D models to get an idea.

Ronit Roy too talked about his character in a recent interview and revealed that he will be playing the role of a jailer. The actor added, “According to me, the character is exactly the way he should be.” Farhan Akhtar will be seen playing the role of a prisoner. Here’s the second poster –
