Bollywood celebrities descended at the Vogue Beauty Awards 2017 red carpet in style. The event was held in Mumbai on August 2, 2017 and the Who’s Who of Bollywood made heads turn with their oomph and style!
The red carpet saw the attendance of Amitabh Bachchan with wife Jaya Bachchan, daughter Shweta Bachchan and grand daughter Navya Naveli. The Bachchan ladies made even made it to the cover page of Vogue India Magazine’s August 2017 edition! However surprisingly while the Bachchan family showed off their family bond by posing together, beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a separate entry and posed alongside a friend. Husband Abhishek Bachchan skipped the event as he is currently busy with the Pro Kabaddi League and his team, Jaipur Pink Panthers is currently gearing up for the championship.
Other celebrities who were spotted at the event include – Shahid Kapoor with wife Mira Rajput, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Bhumi Pednekar, Akshay Kumar, Pernia Qureshi, Waluscha D’Souza, Tanisha Mukherjee, Karisma Kapoor, Sunny Leone, Sooraj Pancholi, Tara Sharma, Swara Bhaskar, Aditi Rao Hydari, Pooja Hegde, Dia Mirza, Shamita Shetty, Disha Patani, Rhea Chakraborty, Evelyn Sharma and Varun Dhawan – to name a few.
Shahid’s wife Mira looked glamorous in a black off shoulder gown while Shahid appeared in a purple suit. Varun Dhawan, who is preparing for his upcoming film Judwaa 2 looked dapper in a black suit as he posed for the shutterbugs. While Disha Patani made heads turn with a shimmery cut out gown.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan sported a black, ruffled off-shoulder gown by Nedret Taciroglu. She completed her look with curly hair and red shoes. While mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan wore an anarkali by her favorite designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Meanwhile Shweta Bachchan Nanda color coordinated with her mother in a tube dress by Moschino. Daughter Navya Naveli Nanda sported a sexy sequined gown by Monisha Jaising.
Karisma Kapoor turned up the style quotient at the Vogue Beauty Awards red carpet in a hand moulded metallic bandage dress by Indian designer Amit Aggarwal. She completed her look with plaited hair and black pumps.
Actress Diana Penty arrived in a black net gown with bright floral embroidery by the Heumn Project. She gave accessories a miss and let her dress do all the talking.
Meanwhile Aditi Rao Hyadri too was quite the stunner as she turned up in an eye-popping gown by international label, Basil Soda! The dramatic dress accentuated her curves which upped her glamour quotient.
