Kriti Sanon reacts to Bhairavi Goswami’s body shaming comments – “Who is she?”

For those of you who haven’t caught up to the whole Kriti Sanon – Bhairavi Goswami body shaming controversy yet, here’s what happened…

It all started with the infamous KRK sharing a video of Kriti dancing on her bed captioned, “Ye Dekho Kiriti Bechari, Raabta Ke flop Hone Ke Baad, mentally disturb Ho Gayee hai!”.  In the video, Kriti Sanon was dancing to the Mubarakan song Hawa Hawa, to show her support for the Arjun Kapoor starrer.

While this may seem as an unnecessary attack from Kamal R Khan on an innocent video – what was more shocking was Bhairavi Goswami’s comment. She responded to KRK’s tweet by saying, “She is really behaving like a deranged woman. How did she become an actress. No headlight, no bumper?. Even college students look better http://twitter.com/kamaalrkhan/status/888714157478096896 …”

This sparked off a series of ‘Who is Bhairavi’ trolls on Twitter against Bhairavi Goswami! With some people leaving comments to the tune of, “Tum kaun ho been?” and “Googled you, got no result”. But the trolls the did not deter the Bheja Fry (2007) actress who went on to say that Instagram accounts trolling her had been blocked and she would report Twitter accounts next!

On Tuesday, August 2, 2017, Kriti Sanon finally broke her silence on the incident when she was asked at about it at a Bareilly Ki Barfi press conference. She reacted sarcastically by saying, “Who is Bhairavi Goswami?”

Responding to this the reporter revealed that the lesser known actress has appeared in several films including Hate Story. To this Kriti said, “I think, I’m just happy for her. She got a lot of publicity. Now you guys know her name also, so yeah.”
