The Judwaa 2 trailer has been launched a couple of hours back today and it has already amassed about 1,71, 296 views. A sequel to the Salman Khan double role superhit movie, Judwaa, Judwaa 2 will witness Varun Dhawan giving the double dose of entertainment along with Jacqueline Fernandes and Taapsee Pannu. However, what added to this entertainment and fun factor already is the presence of 100 real-life twin pairs at the trailer launch today. Must say, the promotional gimmick for the trailer launch was apt to the movie’s concept and intriguing as well.
Just like the original Judwaa released in 1997, Varun here dons the characters of Raja and Prem, where one is spontaneous, street-smart and always has some mischief up his sleeve, the other twin is the timid, polite and the sweet version, vulnerable to being bullied around.
The grand event where the trailer of the movie was unveiled by the real-life twins who were invited by the lead actors over social media from across the country to join them for the trendsetter trailer launch.
A press release ahead of the trailer launch quoted David Dhawan, the director of the movie, saying, “Portraying the endearing attachment between twins is what I have tried to do. We have 200 twins at the launch sharing the love with us, it feels overwhelming and I am grateful for all the love Judwaa 2 is receiving.”
As the trailer suggests, the film is expected to be the double dose of laughter, especially as Salman Khan also features in a cameo role in the movie. Speculations are rife that Salman twins come across Varun’s twins in an encounter that will double up the confusion and has the caliber to guarantee scores of laughter and perfect entertainment.
Some of the original hit songs of the movie have also been rehashed by Anu Malik while there are other songs for which the locales have been changed. The trailer launch of Judwaa 2 turned out to meet the high anticipations.
