Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’Cruz promote Baadshaho at press event

The release of the multi-starrer film Baadshaho helmed by Milan Luthria is just round the corner. With just a few days left for the release the makers are promoting the film in full swing with whoever is available. Earlier Ajay Devgn remained absent from promotions due to commitment issues, and now Ajay along with Ileana D’Cruz promoted the film in Mumbai on August 23, 2017.

The film also stars Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta and Vidyut Jammwal. Ajay and Ileana were present for a media interaction related to the upcoming film. Ajay will be seen playing the role of a thief Bhawani while Ileana will be seen playing the role of Gitanjali, who belongs to a Royal family.

Ileana while talking about her role said, “I love the fact that I am doing something which I wanted to for a long time. I was surprised when Milan offered me the role. As it is a central character, I am aware that it comes with a certain responsibility, so I had to contain my excitement.” The actress added that she irritated director Milan to begin the film as soon as possible.

Ileana also shared that Baadshaho was an emotional journey for her from being excited to breaking down on the last day. The Barfi actress also shared that she had cried a lot when the director announced on the speakers, ‘That was Ileana’s last shot.’ Ajay has earlier worked with Milan on the films like Kachche Dhaage and Once Upon A Time in Mumbai. Ileana for the press event looked great in a black off-shoulder gown while Ajay appeared in casuals. Baadshaho will be released in theatres on September 1, 2017.
