Assam lad Bir Radha Sherpa wins Dance Plus season 3 – PHOTOS

Dance Plus 3 reached its finale episode after 15 weeks of power-packed performances

The third season of the popular dance reality show Dance Plus 3 has come to an end. Assam lad who handled every performance solo, Bir Radha Sherpa was announced as the winner of the season at the finale episode on September 24, 2017. The winner reportedly walked away with a prize money of Rs. 25 lakhs. Sherpa was from mentor Puneet Pathak’s team and this is the first time the mentor lifted the trophy.

Mentor Dharmesh Yelande had claimed the previous two titles of the show. Actor, choreographer and filmmaker Prabhu Deva gave away the trophy to the winner who also claimed a brand new Hyundai Elite i20 car, an amazon voucher worth 1 lakh rupees, an Oppo phone and a Suzuki Gigsar SFFi bike. The other contenders in the finale were Aryan Patra, Amardeep Singh, Tarun and Shivani. Bir while talking about his win said, “Winning this show was a very big surprise. I did not know so many people out there have been supporting me. Most importantly, Punit Sir has supported me throughout and I dedicate my win to him. In addition, Shakti Ma’am & Dharmesh Sir gave me constant motivation.”

The recently concluded season saw some amazing talent from across the country. The show also saw some international dancing stars challenging the participants of the show. The finale of the show saw the stars of Judwaa 2, Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu promote their upcoming film and cheer for the finalists. This was the first time Puneet took home the title of the third season of the show.
