Bollywood Garam: Despite constant denials of the Malayalam star Prithviraj’s wedding, strong reports are constantly buzzing in the industry regarding his marriage. The actor got married to Supriya Menon, who is a news reporter in Mumbai.
When his film ‘Urumi’ was about to release, the reports of his marriage had circulated, after which the actor had denied a number of times that he had any plans to get married. Prithviraj gave several interviews to Malayalam channels, clarifying that is not getting hitched.
At a point the actor had even called it ‘idiot journalism’, while denying the reports. However, sources close to the family members of the actor have said that the actor and Menon tied the knot on 25th April 2011 in a secret ceremony, which was attended only by the immediate relatives of the couple.
The couple got married in a resort in Palakkad in the state of Kerala. Sources from the girls side have even said that the actor wants to have a private ceremony and does not want to get married in front of several cameras and make a hype out of it. Not more than 50 people attended the ceremony and a five star hotel in Ernakulam had already been booked for the reception on 1st May.
