Big B all set for a Maldives vacation with family on 75th birthday as celebs ring in wishes

Big B as Amitabh Bachchan is lovingly known is one of the most-loved, revered and popular stars not only in Bollywood but with his innumerable fans back home and abroad. A legendary actor whose acting prowess has been known and appreciated far and wide not only in India but abroad as well, Amitabh Bachchan turned 75 on October 11, 2017 and it is a big day for celebrities, whether in the film fraternity, sports or even the Prime Minister of the country. Wishes are flowing from all quarters and Big B couldn’t have been more delighted. Senior Bachchan has reportedly left with his entire family including son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, little Aaradhya, daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and her children Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya for a vacation in Maldives.

Mid-Day reports a source close to the Bachchan clan saying, “The entire Bachchan clan, including Shweta Bachchan Nanda and her children Navya Naveli and Agastya, will be heading out to Maldives on October 10. Abhishek and Aishwarya have planned a week-long celebration and supervised all the arrangements. Aaradhya has designed a special hand-painted card for her grandfather. They will ring in his birthday with fireworks, cake and wine.”

The social media, meanwhile, is flooded with wishes, praises and a wave of joy and reverence for the ‘God of Bollywood’ as he is being currently referred to in the social media networks.

“My father had first pointed out the humble nature of Amitji. I was too young to understand this aspect then but have been struck by his humility every time I have met him,” adding, “His hunger to achieve more is also admirable. Amitji keeps pushing the boundaries and reinventing himself.”

Further, today’s episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 9 (KBC 9) will witness Big B teary-eyed and delighted at the same time, giving his audiences and the KBC team special memories to cherish and also for the legendary actor to have some surprising heartfelt moments on the show.
