Twinkle Khanna who has been away from Bollywood for quite some time is now ready to make her debut as a producer for the upcoming film Padman. The actress turned producer was snapped spending time with close friend Karan Johar at a restaurant in Mumbai on October, 11, 2017.

Karan and Twinkle were snapped outside the restaurant and posed for the shutterbugs together. Twinkle looked pretty in a casual striped shirt outfit from Sandro and completed her look with Valentino sandals and a matching clutch by Chanel.

Twinkle’s upcoming production has Akshay Kumar in the lead role and is directed by R. Balki. The film is a biopic on the real life character of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who made a machine that manufactures low-cost sanitary pads. The film also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte playing important roles and Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in a special role.

Padman is due to be released on April 13, 2018.
