The Jab We Met actor was seen having a banana after a hard workout session. Shahid is looking forward to his upcoming film, Padmavati and will soon begin the promotions as it is ready to be released on December 1, 2017. The film also stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali-helmed film has been a part of several controversies since it went on floors.
Shahid will be seen playing the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh while Deepika will be seen playing the role of Rani Padmavati. Shahid recently released the poster featuring him as Rawal Ratan Singh and looked quite impressive. The actor has also been roped in to reportedly play the role of a lawyer in the upcoming film, Batti Gul Meter Chalu by Shree Narayan Singh of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha fame.
