Bollywood’s stunt veteran, Akshay Kumar is now a part of the jury of the Great Indian Laughter Challenge. After several controversies, the show has a new panel of judges which includes Akshay, Sajid Khan, Elli Avram and Shreyas Talpade. Akshay, during the show, looked dapper in a white t-shirt, denims and a jacket while Ellie looked pretty in a red outfit.

The show had reportedly been in news recently for all the wrong reasons, after just a few weeks of going on air. The first incident happened when the channel decided not to air a segment where contestant Shyam Rangeela imitated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi. And then the news came that the judges of the show, Mallika Dua, Zakir Khan and Hussain Dalal were all sacked due to low TRPs.

Things turned more sour when Mallika shared a previously not-aired video where Akshay Kumar tells her, “Aap ghanti bajaiye, main aapki bajata hun” as she walked to ring the bell after a contestant performed. The comment from Akshay was criticized and was labeled as sexist.
