Despite all the negativity which has surrounded the upcoming film Padmavati, Deepika Padukone continues to be engrossed in promotions. The actress was snapped decked up in a red outfit as she promoted the upcoming film which is one of the most awaited films of 2017.
Deepika will be seen playing the role of Rani Padmini while co-star Ranveer Singh will be seen playing the main antagonist, Alauddin Khilji. The film also features Shahid Kapoor, who will be seen playing Maharaja Rawal Ratan Singh. The first picture of Deepika for promotions was shared by her stylist, Shaleena Nathani on her Instagram Account.
The actress was seen wearing a red maxi outfit with golden embellishments on the shoulder. Deepika, in a recent interview, shared her experience of shooting Padmavati and shared that it was an overwhelming and as well as a tiring experience. If things work out well, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali helmed Padmavati will be released in theatres on December 1, 2017.
