Kangana Ranaut who has always made a stylish appearance at the airport surprised the cameras when she was seen on a wheelchair with an injured leg at the Mumbai airport on November 22, 2017. The actress got injured while shooting for the upcoming film Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi.
Despite the pain, Kangana was all smiles and was seen wearing a black t-shirt, black pants and a camouflage jacket with a black cap. Ranaut, was seen showing off her leg and made funny expressions as she was being taken on a wheel chair. This is the second time the actress got injured while shooting for Manikarnika.
Just a few months back, Kangana had a deep cut on her forehead while practicing sword fighting with her co-star Nihar Pandya. The Tanu Weds Manu actress during an interview with a leading daily said, “I am a bit embarrassed to be thrilled to have a battle scar on my face. Also, people from my team have been telling me that it’s like that Peshwa teeka that Manikarnika wore. It’s a bit dramatic but I am excited that my face was covered in blood and I got a genuine and authentic glimpse of the Queen’s life.”
The upcoming film Manikarnika is directed by Krish and has been written by K.V. Vijayendra Prasad. The film also stars Ankita Lokhande, Atul Kulkarni and Sonu Sood. Manikarnika is due to be released in theatres on April 27, 2018.
