The entire nation rejoiced when Indian model Manushi Chhillar won the Miss World 2017 pageant. The 20-year-old youngster received a grand welcome as she returned to Mumbai. After visiting the popular Siddhivinayak temple in the morning, the model was snapped at a press event in Mumbai on November 27, 2017.
The youngster who is currently seeking a medical degree from Sonipat, looked gorgeous in a cream and green outfit and proudly flaunted the Miss World 2017 crown as she posed for pictures. Manushi Chillar has become the sixth Indian woman to win the Miss World pageant and is the first since Priyanka Chopra won the title in 2000.
The 20-year-old competed against 108 contestants from across the globe at the Sanya City Arena in China. 2016 winner Stephanie Del Valle from Puerto Rico crowned Manushi at the grand event. Manushi has also been a part of the campaign Project Shakti which educated women about menstrual hygiene and touched 5,000 lives in villages.
