Lead actors of the upcoming film Kaalakaandi launched the trailer of the film at an event in Mumbai on December 6, 2017. The trailer launch saw the presence of Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Shobhita Dhulipala, Kunal Roy Kapur, Deepak Dobriyal and others.
Kaalakaandi, is an upcoming black comedy flick which has faced 73 cuts from the CBFC and is finally ready to be released in theatres on January 12, 2018. The film is directed by debutant Akshat Verma and produced by Rohit Khattar and Ashi Dua Sara.
Saif can be seen in a completely different avatar with his hair tied in multiple ponytails with fluorescent rubber bands. The trailer indeed seems promising with some hard hitting dialogues and dark homour. The story of Kaalakaandi is set around sic characters and their lives . The film will also remind the audience of the film Udta Punjab which had a similar subject.
