Akshay Kumar is reaching different platforms, to promote his upcoming film Padman. After promotions at the grand finale of the show Bigg Boss, the actor has reached Pune for promotions.
Akshay shared a picture from the promotions on his Instagram account where he can be seen posing with a big crowd behind him. The Khiladi star posted a picture and wrote, “Talking periods and breaking taboos at the Lokmat event today. #PadManInPune gets a crazy welcome! @padmanthefilm #MrsfunnybonesMovies @sonypicturesin @kriarj #RBalki #25Jan2018.” Akshay at the event looked great in a green t-shirt and a camouflage t-shirt.
Akshay during the promotional event at Bigg Boss shared that 82 percent of the women in rural India do not have access to sanitary pads or do not know about sanitary pads. The actor also shared that many women in the rural area use burnt ash, mud or dirty cloth to manage bleeding due to which many women suffer from cervical cancer.
Akshay on the show also showed off the machine that is used to make low-cost sanitary pads. The actor also taught Salman Khan how to make low-cost sanitary pads. The film Padman will mark the debut of Twinkle Khanna as a producer under the banner of Mrs. Funnybones Productions.
