Ravi Dubey,Shankar Mahadevan, Monali Thakur and Diljit Dosanjh at a show launch event
Colors TV successfully launched the second season of the singing reality shown Rising Star at an event in Mumbai on January 16, 2018. The launch event saw the judges Monali Thakur, Diljit Dosanjh, Shankar Mahadevan and host Ravi Dubey. The second season of the show is soon expected to go on air.
Composer Shankar looked great in a purple asymmetric kurta and a pair of denims while Monali looked pretty in a floral pant suit with a black tank top. Ravi too showed off a cool look in a black vest, black cargo pants and a camouflage jacket and completed his look with a nerdy specks and white sneakers.
Diljit, who made his debut in Bollywood with the film Udta Punjab, has been cast opposite Kriti Sanon for the upcoming flick Arjun Patiala. The film will be produced by Dinesh Vijan and Kriti will be seen playing the role of a journalist while Diljit will be seen playing the role of a small-town boy from Punjab.
