After hosting a press conference Akshay Kumar attended the inauguration of the Versova Fish Festival in Mumbai on January 19, 2018. The event also saw the presence of Remo D’Souza and honorable Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis.
Akshay looked cool with his bald look, pink t-shirt and a pair of denims. The Khiladi star at the earlier press event made an announcement that the release of Padman has been postponed. The announcement was made in presence of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, whose film Padmaavat is releasing on January 25, 2018.
The recent announcement paved way for a solo release for both the films which were expected to be released on January 25, 2018. Akshay will be seen playing the lead in the Arunachalam Muruganantham biopic which also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. Bhansali at the press event looked delighted and was thankful for Akshay’s decision to delay the release of Padman. The film will now release on February 9, 2018.
