Deepika Padukone offered prayers at the popular Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai a day before the release of the film Padmaavat. The actress was snapped offering prayers at the temple for her upcoming film Padmaavat, which has gone through several controversies.
Deepika caught everyone’s attention as she was snapped in an ethnic outfit and looked pretty as she waves for her fans and media. The Bajirao Mastani actress was snapped with her entourage as she made her way inside the temple and was escorted out with heavy security.
Meanwhile, Padmaavat has been released on January 24, 2018 despite protests by the activists of the Rajput Karni Sena across the country. The Supreme Court recently ordered the states to maintain the law and order in their respective states. The film is helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and also stars Ranveer Singh and Alauddin Khilji and Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh.
Padmaavat was expected to be released on December 1, 2017 but had to be postponed due to the protests by the members of the Rajput Karni Sena.
