Sonam Kapoor and Twinkle Khanna promote Padman together

Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor and actress turned producer Twinkle Khanna appeared together at an event to promote their upcoming film Padman in Mumbai on January 25, 2018. Twinkle will be making her debut as a producer for Padman under the banner of Mrs. Funnybones Productions.

Sonam looked stunning in a trendy sari with a high neck floral blouse. Twinkle looked pretty in a black and white polka dotted outfit. The upcoming film talks about the importance of menstrual hygiene among women and is a biopic on the national hero Arunachalam Muruganantham.

Sonam during the event talked about the importance of spreading awareness among women about menstrual hygiene. Twinkle and Sonam interacted with young girls at the event and also answered several queries. Sonam in an earlier promotional event of Padman distributed free sanitary pads to young girls in a school in Mumbai.

The film has Akshay Kumar playing the lead role and also stars Radhika Apte playing the role of his wife. Padman is ready to be released on February 9, 2018.
