Deepika Padukone’s father Prakash Padukone honoured with lifetime achievement award

Deepika Padukone and her family were present at an event in Delhi on January 29, 2018. Ace badminton player Prakash Padukone was honoured with a lifetime award. Padukone received the honour by the Badminton Association of India by the hands of Vice President Venkaiah Naidu.

Daughter Deepika was visibly in tears as father received the honour. The Bajirao Mastani actress looked stunning in a traditional sari with matching jewellery. The event also saw the presence of Prakash Padukone’s daughter Anisha Padukone, wife Ujjala and badminton star PV Sindhu.

Prakash Padukone looked great in a black formal suit while daughter Anisha was seen in an anarkali outfit. The Padmaavat actress during the event was also seen bonding with PV Sindhu and was also seen clicking selfies with her. Sindhu later took her social media account and shared the picture and wrote, “Many congratulations to #prakashpadukone sir for Lifetime achievement award and also had a lovely time with the family n with one of my favourite @deepikapadukone #lovelymoments #selfietime #favorite #deepikapadukone #lifetimeachievementawar #prakashsir.”

Deepika is currently enjoying the successful release and box office success of her film Padmaavat.
