Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput, made heads turn as they turned showstoppers for the first time at the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai on January 31, 2018. The popular Bollywood couple turned showstoppers for designer Anita Dongre and also shared a romantic moment at the ramp. Shahid and Mira made a lovely and adorable appearance and the fans loved the way they showed off their chemistry.
The Mausam actor looked dapper in a plain white sherwani while Mira looked pretty in a lehenga with a subtle print and completed her look with exquisite jewellery and a stylish hairdo. Mira and Shahid walked the ramp together like the perfect couple. Shahid twirled Mira around and posed for the cameras.
The Padmaavat actor during the show said, “I am the third spoke in the wheel. Tonight is about Anita and Mira. They are dear friends and I am her dear husband. Therefore I have made it to the ramp tonight with my wife, because she needed somebody. I was her first option, thankfully. I have always been a fan”. Mira is a fan of designer Anita Dongre and said, ”I have always been a fan of Anita’s work. I wore her lehenga for my wedding. I am really happy that my first time (on ramp) has been with Shahid and Anita.”
Shahid is currently enjoying the success of the film Padmaavat, which also stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
