The makers of the upcoming film Raid, unveiled the poster and the official trailer at an event in Mumbai on February 6, 2018. The launch event saw the presence of the lead actors Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’Cruz.
Ajay looked cool in a black shirt and a pair of stylish denims while Ileana looked gorgeous in a black sari and oxidized jewellery. The event also saw the presence of Saurabh Shukla. Once again Ajay will be seen playing the role of a cop.
The trailer has shown Ajay Devgn conducting a raid at a corrupt official’s house, but after conducting the raid, the cop finds himself in trouble as the corrupt officer has a large support from the locals, who burst in to violence. The story of the film is based on the most high profile and well-crafted Income Tax raids of the country.
Devgn will be seen playing a cop and his struggle to conduct a raid on a powerful goon. The trailer also has some powerful dialogues from actors in typical UP accent. The film is directed by Rajkumar Gupta , who has earlier helmed the films like No One Killed Jessica and Aamir. Raid has been filmed at Lucknow and Raebareli and has been written by Ritesh Shah. The audience will once again be treated with the romantic chemistry between Ajay and Ileana after they were seen together in the film Baadshaho. The film is ready to be released in theatres on March 16, 2018.
