TV stars Dipika Kakkar and Shoaib Ibrahim, got married in an intimate wedding ceremony at Maudaha, a town near Lucknow on February 22, 2018. The couple hosted a grand wedding reception in Mumbai on February 26, 2018. The newly-weds looked stunning in a royal attire and were all smiles and poses for the cameras.
Dipika looked stunning in a golden full-sleeved lehenga while the groom looked dapper in a red and gold sherwani with a golden shawl. The couple could not get their eyes off each other and looked adorable as they posed and danced together. The wedding reception also saw the presence of comedian Bharti Singh along with husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Sharad Kelkar, Gurmeet Chaudhary with wife Debina and others friends and colleagues from the TV industry.
Dipika and Shoaib were reportedly expected to get married sometime later this year, but both the families insisted that they get married earlier. Shoaib and Dipika had a Nikah ceremony at the same place Shoaib’s parents had got married, which made it even more special for the couple.
The actor returned to his hometown after almost ten years. Friends and relatives of Shoaib were excited to have him back in the town after so many years. Shoaib had proposed Dipika during their participation on the popular celebrity dance reality show Nach Baliye.
