Veteran actress Sridevi was in her favourite red and golden kanjeevaram sari and wrapped in the tricolor as she was taken on the final journey from Celebrations sports Club to the crematorium in Mumbai on February 28, 2018. A grand funeral procession saw the mortal remains of the Mom actress on a huge truck which was all covered with flowers.
The procession saw Arjun Kapoor, Mohit Marwah, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Boney Kapoor accompany Sridevi. Apart from celebrities a huge crowd was seen on the route by which Sridevi was taken on her final journey. The actress was also accorded with the States Honour. Earlier in the day, a condolence meet was held by the Kapoor family where celebrities from Bollywood were seen paying their last respects to the veteran star of Bollywood.
The Chaalbaaz actress was found motionless in the bathtub of the hotel room in Dubai. The autopsy reports stated that the actress died of accidental drowning after a fainting spell. Fans from all over the country had lodged outside Sridevi’s house before her mortal remains arrived from Dubai.
