Boney Kapoor gave a tearful final goodbye to late wife Sridevi by immersing her ashes in the river Ganga at Haridwar, India. The producer along with brother Anil Kapoor was snapped returning from Haridwar on March 8, 2018.
Veteran actress Sridevi passed away in a bathtub in Dubai due to accidental drowning. The untimely demise of the actress left her fans and the entire film industry in shock. Boney Kapoor along with his daughters Janhvi and Khushi had immersed a part of Sridevi’s ashes at Rameshwar and a part of the ashes were immersed at Haridwar.
The reason Boney Kapoor immersed Sridevi’s ashes in Haridwar was that the actress had promised to return to Haridwar several years back. Boney Kapoor was accompanied by designer Manish Malhotra and Anil Kapoor while conducting the rituals at Haridwar. There are also reports that Boney will be conducting prayers at Sridevi’s hometown on the 16th day.
On the other hand elder daughter Janhvi has got back to work and was snapped on the sets of the film Dhadak.
